LOL! Some of those were hilarious!
My fav quotes have to be some of my (blonde) sister Hannah's when she's tired. I promise that they're all things she really did say:
"I've been listening in on this conversation and frankly, it's been a bit confusing."
"At least I've been 'sober' most of the evening!"
"I don't want my nieces and nephews growing up thinking that I'm a ditz."
And a couple that might be encouraging to you during NaNoWriMo:
"Sometimes you must jump off of cliffs and grow wings on the way down." ~Ray Bradbury
"Do not wait for ideas. Start writing something and the ideas will come. You have to turn the faucet on before the water flows." ~Louis L'Amour
"You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means." ~Inigo

Loved this, Limwen! Here are some of my favorites:
"I write for the same reason I breathe: because if I didn't, I would die." ~Isaac Asimov
"Did you steal my pen again?" ~my Mom
"Praise God and bring it on!" ~David Lingo
"Of all sad words of tongue or pen, the saddest are these: 'It might have been!'" ~from "Maud Muller" by John Greenleaf Whittier
"I don't want to spend my whole life asking 'What if I had given everything instead of going through the motions?'" ~Matthew West, 'The Motions'
"Writers are so weird." ~my brother James
Hey Lu,
Thanks for praying for Noah. Actually, he might be coming home today or tomorrow. :-)
Oh goodie! Quotes! ;-D Hm...
"I love mankind, it's people I can't stand" - Charles M. Schulz (LOL same here)
This one makes me think of the friends I made on Inklings:
"Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another: "What! You too? I thought I was the only one."
— C.S. Lewis
:-D
One more:
"I love writing. I love the swirl and swing of words as they tangle with human emotions."
— James A. Michener
*blissful sigh*
Love you, dearie! E-mail me sometime!
~Laura
