Do you ever get the feeling that you're being watched?

So...I was sitting here, trying to think of something to post...and this kind of came up.

Today my parents and I went to church. The Gospel that was read was the one where Jesus, upon seeing Jerusalem, wept. I love that passage. It's one of my favorites, because it shows us the human side and the tender side of God.
I was thinking about how much Jesus is weeping today.
Abortion...
Murder...
War...
Rape...
Contraception...
Divorce...
Abuse...
Homosexuality...

It seems like America has gone down the tubes, doesn't it? You hear so many horrible tragedies on the news...just horrible. And you hear how so many people still honor and fawn over Obama as if he were a god, even though he hasn't done any of the 'change' he promised would happen, he's the biggest pro-abortion president we've ever had, he's obviously totally against America and all we stand for...I mean, what the heck kind of a president IS that??
And yet, there is hope. You don't hear much of anything that gives you cause for hope (the media takes care of that), but there are still good people in this world, and they are fighting for justice. And God is watching over all...perhaps weeping sometimes...but always watching. Always bestowing mercy. Always giving the sinner a chance to repent. Always bestowing more graces on those who fight for Him.

And in the end, GOD WILL TRIUMPH.

Pax.

Dude...50,000 words is ALOT.

Well, this has to be short because it's 11:30 at night and I have to get up REAL early tomorrow. It's not my fault I stayed up this late...I was writing. :P I was working on my NaNoWriMo novel. Honestly, I don't know why I joined NaNo this year. It's awesome fun, but I'm doing pretty bad. :D (Don't laugh at my word count, you NaNo veterans!) It's been so crazily busy around here, I haven't had the time. We just moved in to our new house (yay!), our computer wasn't working, I took a road trip to Tennessee with my mom, and then of course there's school and piano. I think I'll have to catch up on a lot of writing on the weekend.
"So what IS your word count, anyway?" you ask. *sigh* Well, it's a meager 2372 words. Can I make 50 grand by the end of this month?

No way. XD

I'm such a pessimist.

PS. On the bright side, I got an email with one of the many "pep talks" from NaNoWriMo...and guess who wrote the pep talk? Gail Carson Levine!! She wrote some really awesome advice, I'll have to post it sometime.
