So...I was sitting here, trying to think of something to post...and this kind of came up.
Today my parents and I went to church. The Gospel that was read was the one where Jesus, upon seeing Jerusalem, wept. I love that passage. It's one of my favorites, because it shows us the human side and the tender side of God.
I was thinking about how much Jesus is weeping today.
Abortion...
Murder...
War...
Rape...
Contraception...
Divorce...
Abuse...
Homosexuality...
It seems like America has gone down the tubes, doesn't it? You hear so many horrible tragedies on the news...just horrible. And you hear how so many people still honor and fawn over Obama as if he were a god, even though he hasn't done any of the 'change' he promised would happen, he's the biggest pro-abortion president we've ever had, he's obviously totally against America and all we stand for...I mean, what the heck kind of a president IS that??
And yet, there is hope. You don't hear much of anything that gives you cause for hope (the media takes care of that), but there are still good people in this world, and they are fighting for justice. And God is watching over all...perhaps weeping sometimes...but always watching. Always bestowing mercy. Always giving the sinner a chance to repent. Always bestowing more graces on those who fight for Him.
And in the end, GOD WILL TRIUMPH.
Pax.
